Golden Brothers Co is a federally licensed firearms dealer (FFL) committed to safe, legal, and compliant firearm transfers. All transactions—whether online or in-store—strictly follow federal laws, ATF regulations, and applicable state requirements.

What Is an FFL Transfer?

An FFL transfer is a legally required process where firearms purchased online are shipped to a licensed dealer before being transferred to the buyer.

Under federal law (18 U.S.C. § 922), firearms cannot be shipped directly to individuals.

The FFL dealer will:

  • Receive your firearm via secure, insured shipping
  • Verify your identity with a government-issued ID
  • Complete ATF Form 4473 with you
  • Conduct a background check via NICS
  • Release the firearm after approval

How to Choose an FFL Dealer

During checkout, you must select a licensed FFL dealer.

You can:

  • Search via ATF official database
  • Contact local gun shops or sporting goods stores
  • Choose in-store pickup at Golden Brothers Co (Thomasville, GA)

Required FFL Documentation

After placing your order, provide:

  • Copy of FFL dealer license (valid & complete)
  • Your order number

Shipping & Delivery Policy

  • Flat Rate Shipping: $20 per firearm
  • Carriers: UPS / FedEx
  • Handguns: Overnight / 2-day shipping
  • Rifles & Shotguns: Ground shipping
  • Adult signature required

Processing Time: 1–3 business days after FFL approval

Firearms cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes

ATF Form 4473 Requirement

Before receiving your firearm, you must complete ATF Form 4473.

Required Information:

  • Full legal identity details
  • Valid government-issued ID
  • Eligibility declaration (not a prohibited person)

Providing false information is a federal offense punishable by fines and imprisonment.

NICS Background Check

Every firearm transfer requires a NICS background check conducted by your FFL dealer.

Possible Results:

  • Proceed: Immediate transfer
  • Delay: Up to 3 business days review
  • Deny: Transfer rejected

Denied buyers may appeal via FBI NICS.
